Meet the Pastor

Elder Kurt Bacon is the pastor at Ramah and has served here since June of 2004. He was ordained a minister in 1998 at Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church near Stilson, Georgia. Shortly after his ordination, he became the pastor for Antioch Primitive Baptist Church in Twin City, Georgia. He then came to Ramah in 2004. Brother Kurt has also been on multiple medical/ministerial mission trips to Ukraine.

He was born in Pembroke, Georgia in 1957 and graduated from Bryan County High School in 1975. He earned his B.B.A. from Georgia Southern College in 1979. He and his wife, Annette, have a daughter and a son-in-law and two grandchildren.
